With her major label debut When The City Sleeps, singer-songwriter Alex Isley is enchanting an even larger audience. We love to see the songstress expanding her fanbase, especially with a collection of songs that are some of her best yet. One song that people are gravitating to is the single “Westside,” and now the track has a visual.

Like the album’s artwork, the video for “Westside” is a rhapsody in blue. Alex begins the clip in a frilly cerulean number while chilling with her daughter Isley-Rose in matching silk pajamas. But while the singer is enjoying her quality time with her baby girl, she needs a few moments to herself. On that note, she arranges for somebody to watch over her child while she takes time to cruise the streets of her hometown of Los Angeles.

After getting gussied up and pulling up on her homegirl, the two of them hit the streets in a fly powder-blue car with blood red leather interior. It makes for the perfect ride as the ladies drop the vehicle’s top and let the wind whip through their hair with smiles on their faces.

The smooth feel of the video and sound of the song is indicative of the vibes that can be found on When The City Sleeps. It will also most likely be what fans will be feeling when they attend the When The City Sleeps Tour, which kicks off at the end of next month.
