Beyoncé Announces ‘Renaissance’ 2023 World Tour

BeyHive, get ready for an epic tour experience like no other! The one and only Beyoncé has officially announced her world tour, Renaissance, which will begin this May in Europe and conclude in July at the Rogers Centre in Toronto with back-to-back shows. The tour will make stops in cities like Philadelphia, Nashville, Chicago, Boston, Atlanta, Miami, Houston, New Orleans, Las Vegas, and Los Angeles, just to name a few.

This will be Beyoncé‘s first major tour since her On the Run tour in 2018, which had 48 stops in North America and Europe. After that, she made a massive impact with her unforgettable Coachella performance, which inspired the Netflix hit film, “Homecoming.” Before kicking off her Renaissance tour, Beyoncé performed her first headlining concert in four years at the grand opening of the Atlantis the Royal hotel in Dubai. Despite the request for an invite-only audience, most of the show was quickly uploaded on social media within hours. Fans were a bit disappointed as the setlist didn’t include any tracks from her latest album, Renaissance.

As the tour announcement arrives, Ticketmaster is facing criticism from Taylor Swift fans, aka “Swifties,” over ticket sales issues for Swift’s upcoming Eras tour. When pre-sale tickets for several stops on the tour became available, Swifties encountered issues with Ticketmaster that prevented them from purchasing tickets. Some reported the Ticketmaster website crashing or freezing, even with pre-sale codes. The situation gained national attention, with Swifties taking to social media in masses to express their frustration, leading to Ticketmaster being brought before the United States Senate for questioning. It remains to be seen if Beyoncé fans will face similar challenges during the Renaissance tour ticket sales.

In conclusion, Beyoncé’s Renaissance tour promises to be a dazzling display of her musical talent, captivating stage presence, and elaborate production. Fans can expect an unforgettable experience with the pop icon delivering powerful vocals, stunning choreography, and a visual spectacle that will leave everyone in awe. So, get your wallets ready and mark the dates, as this tour is a must-see for all Beyoncé fans.

Bruno Mars might be in some hot water with MGM.

The “24K Magic” singer announced a multi-year residency with MGM Resorts International in 2016, performing at the hospitality giant’s Park MGM resort in Las Vegas.

However, the relationship between the 38-year-old and the hospitality giant may have gone sour as the singer’s gambling has allegedly racked up large debts at the poker tables in Las Vegas, according to NewsNation.

“He owed millions to the MGM,” a Vegas insider told the outlet.

Another source added that the debt is as high as $50 million.

“[MGM] basically own him. He makes $90 million a year off of the deal he did with the casino, but then he has to pay back his debt,” added the insider, claiming that the singer only makes $1.5 million per night after taxes.

Part of Mars’ MGM contract reportedly included the creation of The Pinky Ring, a cocktail lounge inside the Bellagio Resort. NewsNation reports that another project is in the works as well.

Method Man is one of Wu-Tang Clan‘s most recognizable MCs, yet he’s revealed he’s not watched a single episode of Hulu’s Wu-Tang: An American Saga series.

The New York rapper joined Kevin Hart for a recent episode of his Golden Minds Podcast where Meth explained he’s never watched an episode because he wanted to allow the show to take creative liberties with its story and not feel a way about it.

“So to see this come to fruition on screen, it was a no-brainer for me knowing how RZA works,” he said. “In the beginning, it was like, ‘Wow, they’re taking a lot of liberties here with the story.’ In hindsight, knowing how some of these things work, and embellishments and sometimes dudes still be having open cases and shit so I could understand.

“I haven’t watched an episode, personally, but I get the scripts ahead of time. Everything ain’t for everybody, that’s all I could say.”
