Jordan Brand Brings Back the Air Jordan 5 “White Metallic” With OG Details
Jordan Brand is set to re-release the Air Jordan 5 “White Metallic,” a colorway that first gained acclaim during its original launch in 2000. Returning for the third time in high-top form, this 2026 iteration marks a significant shift toward OG accuracy by replacing the Jumpman heel logo found on the 2015 retro with traditional Nike Air branding. The sneaker is scheduled to arrive in full family sizing, blending a clean heritage palette with updated technical specifications.
The 2026 Air Jordan 5 “White Metallic” adheres to its roots with a premium white leather upper and signature translucent netting on the side panels. The design is anchored by a reflective Metallic Silver tongue and black accents on the inner lining and Jumpman tongue logo. A key refinement in this release is the side “23” embroidery, which utilizes a more vintage-inspired font to better align with the silhouette’s 1990 design language.
