Lil Wayne announces the NEW era of Young Money on his Apple Music show

Lil Wayne has opened up about his new album Tha Carter 6, the drama surrounding his Super Bowl halftime show snub and a host of other topics in a rare interview.

In a new cover story for Rolling Stone, Weezy confirms a number of high-profile (and in some cases unlikely) guests on his next LP, including Miley Cyrus, U2’s Bono and opera singer Andrea Bocelli.

Now on the latest episode of his Apple Music podcast Young Money Radio he reintroduces the new era of Young Money recording artists.

Lil Wayne is joined by Young Money family including Lil Twist, Cory Gunz, Jay Jones, Allan Cubas, Domiio & Euro, Poppy and Lucifena. The group discusses making music, sports, and New Orleans. Watch the entire episode below:

Nas is heading back to Sin City this Summer with The Las Vegas Philharmonic

Hip-Hop icon Nas is heading back to Sin City this summer with the return of his critically acclaimed residency, NAS – ILLMATIC: LIVE, alongside the Las Vegas Philharmonic.

Following the overwhelming success of last year’s shows, the Queensbridge legend is set to light up the Encore Theater at Wynn Las Vegas once again with a second round of orchestral-infused performances that blend rap’s golden era with the grandeur of classical music.

This year’s residency will include five special performances, scheduled to coincide with the NBA Summer League, making it a must-attend event for fans of music and basketball alike.


Nas will kick things off on July 9, with additional shows on July 11 and 12, before wrapping the run with two closing performances on July 18 and 19. All concerts begin at 8 p.m., and tickets go on sale Friday, May 2 at 10 a.m. PT via Ticketmaster.com, with prices starting at $69.95 plus fees.

Fat Joe Suing His Ex-Hypeman for Defamation After He Called the Rapper a Pedophile

Fat Joe has filed a hefty lawsuit against his former hypeman for slandering him on social media, claiming the guy and his lawyer are trying to shake him down for a payday.

TMZ Hip Hop obtained court docs filed by Fat Joe on Tuesday (Apr 29), in which he claims his former hypeman Terrance “T.A.” Dixon is trying to collect money he didn’t earn and resorted to publicly calling the rapper a pedophile on social media when he didn’t get his way.

According to the lawsuit, Dixon claimed, on social media, Joe flew a 16-year-old girl across state lines for sex and posted the allegation along with a picture of Joe, Diddy, and DJ Khaled.

Kid Cudi Announces New Album, Teases First Single

Kid Cudi‘s new album era is officially here, and he’s kicking things off with a teaser of the lead single.

Taking to X on Wednesday (April 30), the Cleveland native revealed the song’s title is “NEVERLAND,” and included a brief visual – though he didn’t share a snippet.

“Pre save NEVERLAND, my first single from my new album, NOW! At http://kidcudi.com,” he wrote with a ferris wheel emoji.

When you head to the site, a countdown reveals the song will arrive next Friday, May 9.
